That's right. You can actually do all of these activities in the same building.

There aren't many restaurants in Tulsa that can boast this claim.

In The Raw Sushi Restaurant

For all of you sushi lovers out there, there is this place called In the Raw Sushi Restaurant that sits atop a hill at 61st & Sheridan.

They also have an In The Raw at 33rd and Peoria.

This is one, of just a handful of sushi restaurants in Tulsa.

I'll get to our review about this great pizzeria called The Pie Hole in a minute. But first let me explain why I'm the best husband in the universe.

La Madeleine

Oh....We so have mixed feelings about this La Madeleine French Cafe. Tori and I decided to stop in for breakfast the other morning. I guess at first I didn't realize it was a chain restaurant, but then I had deja vu all over again. We had recently eaten at La Madeleine in Dallas.

As we stepped closer to the register to take a closer look at the menu, we were heralded with a hearty, "Bonjour!", by the girl behind the counter.

Ricardos

My boss wanted to have a lunch meeting, so three of us ended up going to Ricardos Mexican Restaurant. I had never eaten at Ricardos before, but my boss and co-worker have eaten there on occasion. In fact, I didn't even know the place existed.

In our original post, I mentioned that Tulsa is full of one of a kind restaurants and this is a perfect example. We've probably driven in and around this shopping center a gazillion times and have never noticed this little diamond in the rough.

As we have mentioned before, our reviews will be mainly about the food not the decor or atmosphere of the restaurant, but I'll tell you a little about what to expect.

Restaurants in Tulsa are plentiful no doubt. So, choosing a place to eat on Friday night with your spouse, friends or family can sometimes become a chore or a contest to see who can hold their breath the longest, (please don't try this). 

Yeah, if you're like most people, you tend to stick to the same handful of restaurants and rarely venture to a new eatery. 

We're like migratory birds, very predictable. Oftentimes this is because we simply don't know what to expect at a place we've never been to.
